Getting Ready for School

It's that time again.  School begins for teachers in Alex City one week from today.  That means we use our last few summer vaca days to get the rooms ready and plans made.  Kennedy is going with me today to help get the computer lab in order.  I will miss her next year as she helped me each morning by setting up the laptops.  The walls at school were painted.  We now have yellow, green and blue with red stripes down the halls.  Here is Lisa in my hall.  Bright?  You need the full effect of both walls as you escape walk.  The yellow...  a teacher drove up to the school and thought it was on fire.  Quite different from my gray and maroon [school colors] computer lab.  Everyone has a reaction!  Must get the brain ready as well as the room.  Summer has been good.  I'm thankful for that time each year.
